The students of The Play School celebrated International Yoga Day by organizing a special yoga session during the morning assembly. Students enjoyed demonstrating and performing various simple "asanas"' with the sound of calming musical notes played in the background. The main aim was to raise awareness amongst students to practice yoga daily to enhance mental and physical well -being and gain strength to lead a healthy and active life.
Such a day of integration of mind and body was celebrated by the secondary school at GHMC grounds, Ameerpet on a grand scale. Like the planets revolving in their circular orbits, the students of The Secondary school genuinely demonstrated the Asanas, Pranayama and Suryanamaskar, taking their positions in circles with the demonstrators at the centre. The mainspring of the entire celebration was the amazing coordination observed between the student demonstrators and the other students. It was a treat to all the sense organs watching the arena of white, hearing the YOGA Mantra, breathing the odour of the mother soil and experiencing the peace of meditation.

Father’s day was celebrated in The Play School honouring fathers and their bond with the children.
Ramzan, one of the important festivals of Muslims that upholds the spirit of brotherhood and love was celebrated with a lot of excitement by the students.
With the above theme, the students of Sister Nivedita School, presented the most apt programme for the day, a stark reminder to man of his mistakes – done repeatedly by every human born on this Earth.
As a part of celebrations the students performed a range of cultural programmes showcasing the great history and rich culture of our state.
The students of the primary wing celebrated World Health Day to draw the attention of one and all present in the programme towards the importance of good health.
