HON. CHAIRMAN
It is interesting to be with children – trying to find answers to their innocent questions, sharing their enthusiasm, quelling their fears that limit growth, helping them overcome their frustrations, striving to find the reasons behind their anxieties, feeling their joys, and rewarding them for all of their accomplishments.
At Sister Nivedita we take all care to nurture the blissful, attentive and disciplined environment in which our students can grow and mature.
Although academic excellence is very important to us, we believe that a child’s worth as a person is not to be measured just by marks and grades alone. We seek to establish the development of character and a spirit of curiosity as the fundamental foundations for successful life. Therefore at every given opportunity, we encourage the students to accomplish the optimally unattainable and be best in every possible way.
We hope that each student will find here a sense of joy, a love for learning, a faculty to reason and develop the courage to question assumptions and plan their own path of progress in life through education that embraces these values and gives deeper meaning to life. It makes the attainment of personal goals and achievements more definite, career advancement more feasible, and happiness more deep and lasting.
It’s felicitous to mention the voice of parents for being flexible and supportive in this triumphant journey of aligning education with moral values and strengthening bonds. At the end I would like to advise the students to have a positive mind, keep learning and dream big, most importantly transform their dreams into thought and reality

Shree Krishna describes twenty-six virtues in Bhagavad Gita. These virtues should be cultivated as a part of education to elevate ourselves to the supreme goal.A good disciplined person possesses a high vision, a mind free from agitation, a clear conscience, steadfastness in gaining knowledge, believes in charity, self-restraint, sacrifice, austerity and uprightness. He speaks the truth, doesn’t get angry and is always gentle and modest. It is a joyful pride to mention the efforts taken by the school to educate all, despite pandemic.
Parents instil discipline at home from birth to five years with love. This would be strengthened by the school and the teachers with a life guarantee. It is truly fulfilling to know that the school has a pedagogy that gives prime importance to discipline and then, the skills. It has left no stone unturned in developing skills in students. Many congratulations to the SNS team for getting its students skilled and smart to face the world in the near future. With renewed vigour, the institute seeks to engage in academic practice that is informed by significant research into social, cultural, economic, and environmental spheres, emerging as a key driver of wealth creation. The institute shall endeavour to meet contemporary needs and future challenges and push the boundaries of learning practice in hitherto unexplored fields of the subject.
The two Interact Clubs of the school gives a scope for community outreach and train the young minds to look beyond the academic boundaries with global perspectives. Cheers to all those who had extended their services to all those who were in great help during pandemic.
Special appreciations to the Principal Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari and her team for their persistent, commendable and diligent work. With the hope of sustaining this spirit throughout, I extend my gratitude to all the parents who have supported us at all times and I wish all luck in all the future endeavours.

SNS, an embodiment of learning for life!
The world is defined by the people who live in it
Sister Nivedita School is defined by the strategic, stupendous team of edupreneurs who diligently work on making each child erudite, patriotic, law abiding and ceaselessly seeking excellence, with a deep concern for all, especially the weak and the poor. We try to equip every child with necessary tools – academic, entrepreneurial, moral and spiritual for they may be called upon to put an end to the chaos found in politics, civic life and the environment. We have created an enabling environment for teaching and learning that fosters problem skills through innovation. The school emphasis on rigor, creativity and innovation in academic activities, nurturing an unfettered spirit of exploration.
SNS strongly believes that the role of school education is to move the mankind from Greed to Generosity hatred to Compassion &ignorance to knowledge. An atmosphere of peace, goodwill, love and trust is provided in the campus, making it more fertile to nurture young students to become committed and contributive citizens.
“Let us do something today that our future self will thank us for.”
We, as pedagogues must use the language of passionate possibilitarian so that every obstacle is seen as an opportunity to redefine our ways and means. I therefore believe that every circular, manual, letter or competition invite coming on my table has a purpose that revolves around molding our young minds to be the solution seekers. How we look at the things, think about them and understand them has a significant impact on how we deal with them. Therefore, we look at each circular or guidelines as an opportunity to learn, redesign and every competition as a chance to unfold the talents of our students which sparks curiosity to enquire, question, find out solutions and thereby enhance their critical thinking.
We strongly believe ATTITUDE is the one-word solution to all the problems within the school ecosystem. Attitude towards the 9Cs namely change, curriculum, calling, caring, context, coping, challenge, collaboration and community needs to be positive, as written by Mr. Phil Ridden in his book ‘For those Who Teach’. This positive attitude has helped us to bring innovation in the ways we plan, we execute and we reflect.
I make my team believe in Intent, Implement and Impact. If we have the right intent to implement it rightly, Impact is bound to follow. Similarly my driving principle which echoes that mentor, motivate and then monitor. We, as pedagogues, needs to mentor our team (share our expectations) firstly, then motivate them (why we need to do so) and then monitor their actions.
Also, its highly imperative to remember the following.
1. Gaps are created by what is said but by how it is said.
2. What is said reaches the mind, how it is said reaches the heart.
3. And there is no way to win the mind without winning the heart.
These 3 vital rules remind me of ‘The Clay Blob Theory for coping with change’ written by Mr. Phil Ridden.
WithNEP in progress, we as educators need to speak the words of unchained heroism, need to talk the language of passion, need to use the language of hope, need to go in depth to understand what NEP says and finally need to adapt them as our regular teaching-learning style. NEP also emphasis on experiential learning, art integration and sport integration that would make the classes interesting for students.
Experiential learning is the foundation of any form of learning. It is a process that involves the learner’s first-hand experience. It epitomizes the age-old saying of Confucius, “ I hear, and I forget, I see, and I remember, I do, and I understand.” Therefore, the quality of the experience is of paramount importance because it’s what will eventually transform into knowledge. It can be incorporated by analyzing and identifying activities that circumference our desired objectives and outcomes. Even designing grading criteria and assessments based on the same can help in executing them.Apart from being a regular course work, experiential learning has turned out to be an immersive experience with unique exercise. It requires an active presence. As a result, the retention rate is more than the traditional learning outcome. It results in long-lasting learning and helps increase knowledge of the subject by bridging the gap between theory and practice.
Art-Integrated learning is an extension of experiential learning. Creativity is the heart and soul of our learning process and must cater to the learner’s unique perspective on looking at things. As art integration works on the model of Creative Critical Thinking, it empowers the learner by boosting their communication, interdisciplinary approach, and self-esteem. Moreover, when art is integrated with core subjects, it creates an enthusiastic approach that enhances the child’s enquiry skills because his interest is awakened. Learning becomes joyful.
Sports integration gives a new turn to cross pedagogical approach. Sports, as we know, brings the world together as nothing else can. NEP has undoubtedly taken care of the cross-pedagogical approach by integrating sports. It helps develop skills such as collaboration, self-initiative, self direction, self discipline, team work, responsibility, thereby fostering physical and psychological logical wellbeing.Sports help refresh the mind, body and soul. It certainly makes the child stay more focused, disciplined and inculcates sportsmanship. Apart from this, it will help the students to be dexterous, skillful and be more determined.
Life Skills Integration has always been an essential behavior for empowering oneself.Life skills are those essential behaviours that should be acquired by a learner to be confident, communicative, socialize ethically & be independent. Apart from imbibing the 4c’s in students, a child needs to be curious, agile, flexible, to have leadership skills, to take the initiative, to be outcome –focused. The school strives harder to inculcate these life skills in students so that they will be able to strategize better, inculcate a positive mindset and be innovative.
It’s the team that achieves greater successes. I am very proud to say that our children are extremely doing well in all Olympiad examinations conducted by various organisations and karate tournaments at International and State Level Science projects and many more.
We all know educating the modern age kids requires a lot of stamina and high level of energy and patience. The diverse programmes we have in the school are made possible because of the tireless effort and dedication of our both teaching and non-teaching staff in the planning, implementation and monitoring the programmes. I thank my teachers who work beyond call of duty and school hours to bring out the best of children. I thank all of them for their commitment and dedication.
I take this opportunity and thank all parents for choosing us, for staying with us, for partnering with us to promote and nourish the capabilities and skills of children to see better tomorrow.
The school has chiseled a notch for itself among the array of educational institution in the city and will continue to fly its flag higher and higher as the custodian of our students dreams and aspirations.
I once again thank our management for their unconditional support doing the best for the most in our small and big endeavors.
“Alone we can stand, but together we can grow.” Let us continue our sincere services to help every child to strategize better inculcate a positive mindset and be innovative to achieve greater heights of success in their chosen careers.
